"Fortnight" has overtaken "All I Want For Christmas Is You" as the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify history.

 

Great news! It feels right that this record belongs to an event release again rather than the annual passive listening on Christmas Day.

The thing is fortnight probably isn’t even one of Taylor’s best 30 songs maybe not even top 50 but I prefer that to all I want for Christmas

Think it’s like 4k for every million streams. When you consider Taylor sold so many physicals and already has 314M after 1 day on Spotify alone probably over double if you include Amazon and apple this album surely record breaking in terms of money. Worldwide physical sales could well be 5+ mill and it’s surely going to get 25-40 billion streams. Could be a 100 mill profit album

True, but they don’t REALLY care for the UK.

'Cruel Summer' was never that close to #1, she'd have needed like 30k physicals to get there.

Interesting that on AM, there are two TTPDs above the first My Boy... and two So Long Londons above first But Daddy I Love Him.

 

I guess her three charting songs will be Fortnight, the title track and So Long London.
