I don’t even know where to start cheeseblock

this album is so beautifully crafted, it feels like the perfect blend of the best of all her eras yet so FRESH. she sounds incredible vocally and the outrooooos oh mama. I love the way the album takes us on a journey, I was SO cynical to how Die With A Smile would work and it just really does.

will report back with thoughts per song once I’ve listened a few more times

Well, I hate to come here as the only post so far of not complete positivity but I’m a little disappointed :( I do like pretty much every song and I particularly like the run of How Bad Do U Want Me

It’s incredible! On first listen I was SHOCKED it’s nothing like I thought it would be but on second listen/ third listens it’s incredible!! It’s so cohesive and 80% of the songs could easily be transformed into singles!

Standouts for me are: Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, ZombieBoy and Shadow of a Man.

Vanish into you seems like a bit of a weird promo song to push I enjoy it but Shadow of man would be an incredible single and I can see it being huge.

It looks like they've changed New Music Friday UK to push Garden of Eden not Vanish Into You?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone swap a single to push but it was definitely needed.

The album's definitely a lot more 80s sounding than I expected, I'm really loving it!

I bloody love 'Perfect Celebrity'! And 'Garden of Eden' is definitely an obvious single, that could easily be a Britney song.

Damn this is crazy. Looks like Vanish Into You is still the push on Apple Music as its in the big playlists.

On first listen I liked Garden of Eden infinitely more so I think that might be a better one to push but now I've listened to Vanish multiple times I'm kind of obsessed with it. The beauty of this album.

I've only slotted in a background listen so far but 'Garden of Eden', 'Perfect Celebrity', 'Killah' and 'The Beast' quickly hooked me in the most. The 'Princess Die' lyric in 'Perfect Celebrity' caught me off guard and made me feel about 14 again.

Looking forward to having a proper, focused listen but it sounded promising 🖤

This album just grows and grows for me on each listen it’s definitely in her top 3 albums potentially top 2!

Garden of Eden is sounding more and more like a smash to me.

Garden of Eden SCREAMS like it needs a comedy music video. Has Gaga ever done a funny music video, I don’t think so.

Overall it’s a really solid and cohesive album. Although have to admit it’s not really my kinda style of music that I’d normally gravitate too and was hoping for more songs in a similar vain to Disease or Abracadabra.

That being said it’s still really good, stand outs so far Perfect Celebrity, Shadow Of a Man, Garden Of Eden and Blade Of Grass. But I think there’ll be a lot of growers

What an album!!! I didn’t know what to expect and probably expected a full dark era but I love the 80s esque sounds and the production on this album is so good possibly her best production wise.

After listening Disease was quite a bold choice to push as the first solo single. She could’ve easily chose pretty much the whole album and it been more GP friendly but I support her for just going with what she wanted.

There’s so many standouts here to mention but I can fully support Shadow of a man as a career high and Don’t Call tonight really grabbed me too which isn’t one lve seen many mention.

Perfect Celebrity was a moment too and will come along so good live! I’m so happy with this as an album though she’s really given us something that I’ve longed for!

Vanish Into You getting the streaming push I’d say is a wise move too. The GP and straights will definitely like that the most I’d say!

Every Track is so damn good, floored at how well crafted the album is, also impressed with how seamless the songs go in to each other... if I had to name what tracks was instant for me I would say. Garden Of Eden, Killah, How Bad Do You Want Me, The Beast and Blade Of Glass

First impressions are this is a great album, it’s rare I hear an album and love it right away but I can tell this is going to grow on me a lot. Surprised at how funky this is which I really like along with the 80s vibe. Also she’s underrated with rocky edgy numbers, she really suits it.

Garden of Eden, Perfect Celebrity, Zomebieboy and How Bad Do You Want Me are my standouts at the moment. All of those would be brilliant singles. I’m glad they are pushing Garden though, it’s so catchy and I can see it doing well.

I do like pretty much every song and I particularly like the run of How Bad Do U Want Me -> Don’t Call Tonight -> Shadow Of A Man, all of which are highlights for me. The vibe is fun and summery but too much of it feels like something Gaga has done before but better.

I have no issue with Gaga using herself as a reference, Abracadabra certainly does and it’s one of my favourite songs she’s ever done. But quite a few songs left me going “this sounds like a weaker track from The Fame/Monster/BTW”, so while I understand she’s revisiting old eras in a full circle kinda way, I’d like it if that was done in a way that still felt fresh. And there’s a couple of songs that really do feel like 2009 to me, rather than 2009 defrosted in 2025.

I think the album will grow on me but I remember how immediate Chromatica was for me and how exciting it was from first listen. I’d say my first listen of this was “good” but certainly not exciting, which both of the leads were.

My copy arrived today and I'm pleased to say that I'm listening now and it sounds great - and I love the lavender colour 💜

I'm going to hold off posting my thoughts on the album as I was unsure on first listen but on second listen I think I liked pretty much everything, see what happens after I've finished this listen
