Just 1,200 units separate the entire Top 3 in today's update - and it's all change at the top.

 

Charli's sixth studio album BRAT now leads the pack, at Number 1 in the latest sales flash. Taylor's sales surge now sees her tracking for Number 2, while former front-runners Bon Jovi are expected to debut at Number 3 with Forever.

It’s all over then I guess unless Charli can work miracles, as Taylor will easily overtake on streaming alone.

Totally agree, literally nobody except her core fans is ever gonna be here for “scoobity doobity dooby da da ba do” on the charts in 2024. She really threw way too much at this song and it didn’t pay off. A mess!

I mean, I'm oversimplifying it, but the whole point of her going independent was because Polydor were creatively stifling her and forcing her to just make basic for the sake of basic hits. It'd be a big step back to discourage any straying from the norm.

According to polyhex, we had 'K*tchen Kings' by D-Block Europe in 2019 which was a top 20 hit, so you're probably thinking of that, although I have no memory of it (and nor do I want to). As mentioned, Pozer recently had 'K*tchen Stove' too but again that passed me by. I don't even remember it being talked about on here?

No, as Joseph mentioned earlier, it has remained within the system somehow despite being cleared from the list of filtered words

Brat has jumped from 8 to 2 on iTunes, hopefully makes a difference.

I thought Charli would have a big enough fanbase for a strong final push to get the #1 but I'm not seeing much hype on social media. A shame. Wish the label tried a bit harder

You can criticise certain things without being an all out rabid Taylor hater seriously.

I imagine if Bon Jovi sold 150k signed CDs and released them 25k at a time to hold down the Number 1 spot for 6 weeks people might indeed find that a little tiresome.
