Jorgeous gets a mini challenge badge lmfao

 

Acting: Nina vs Angeria, lipsync to Lovergirl, Angeria blocks Mik

 

Design: Mik successfully blocked, unsure who else wins this challenge, if it’s not Shannel that’s 8 episodes and no badge so I bet we get a “nobody told me I’m beautiful!!!!” moment

Shannel is rumored not to win anything until the very final episodes

Looks like we have potentially another non elim as it’s a small cast.

Honestly Bosco with a trans joy glow up…. She is storming this I’d have thought.

How are you casting a first out on a non-elim series, not knowing whether they have the goods for any single challenge thrown at them? The rest has some of my favourites who I’d want back though, I’d imagine it’ll change anyway.

Irene did feel like she had more to offer so good to see her on the list

 

I still want a Laila McQueen appearance!

I do feel like Irene has more to offer, for sure. But, not on a non-elimination series - I think you need a fair idea that they're going to succeed in most challenges to make it feel deserved, and there's just no way of knowing if she would based off one episode where she bombed.

More importantly. I am here for a Peppermint return!

Honestly I think that's a really strong cast. Even Irene - she had so much potential/amazing outfits to show for her original season. I think she'll do really well on All Stars.

 

Really interested to see Acid Betty back as well. I can just tell the runways for the season are going to be top notch *_*

 

 

The tea has changed

 

Apparently we are now looking at a cast of either 12 or 15 with a new format.

 

Most of the confirmed cast are still confirmed, with the addition of a second queen from S15 and possibly even somebody from AS9.

 

Apparently it’s Jorgeous which I could see :lol: Ru is OBSESSED

 

I think the S15 queen might be Amethyst as she was on the watchlist initially, she’d be a good one to get a second chance in this cast imo. I like this cast for an elim format tbh

After the way Canada vs the World 2 cast I feel like anything is possible with Drag Race casting.

Sad to see Peppermint gone :( Although pleasantly surprised to see Darienne back!

 

Honeslty I don't see Bosco or Aja dominating. You have quite a lot of queens who will be good at specific challenges that will likely win over them both - Acid Betty in design challenges, Denali/Coco in dance/performance challenges and Darienne in comedy challenges. Plus you have queens like Olivia Lux who did really well on their season and could easily dominate if they've had a good glow up! Not to mention some potential dark horses in Irene & Aiden as I can see both doing better than people expect! Aiden's had a particularly great glow up since season 12 and could see them having some incredible runways (their original runways in season 12 they made themselves with limited funds, their S12 finale look was great and I hope we can expect more of that!).

 

Not to say I don't see Bosco or Aja getting some challenge wins - this could actually be a very even playing field amongst the queens if the challenges are well balanced! Whilst I would love to see Darienne win, I think that's very unlikely!

Darienne AGAIN after just appearing in AS8? I’m sorry but no, keep it. All Stars is slowly ruining the franchise.

They need to just do it every couple of years I think, obviously you only get one normal season a year and most queens want a few years before they go back for All Stars so you have a limited crop, and they either get the most random queens back or queens who have already done All Stars. Tbh I don’t mind some of these coming back but it is annoying when every year we get really great rumours and slowly whittle down to a meh cast.

 

I feel like they should have purely done GAS this year and had a break from normal All Stars, then you could have heavy hitters like say Gottmik, Angeria and Roxxxy plus Bosco, Aja and Betty and that’s the foundation for a decent cast.

 

Part of me thinks there’s spillers just making shit up though because this is such a random cast, we’ll see when filming starts which I believe isn’t until first half of July
