Well it was a win for England, albeit peaking quite early so not sure it'll be generating the excitement to send 'Three Lions' truly stratospheric again x Apple hasn't updated again yet.

It would actually be a rather interesting thing to study if England did make it to the Euros final to see what numbers Three Lions (et al.) pulled in, given the ongoing debate about autopayola vs a general rise in consumption. Given we have 2021 to compare to and I can't see Three Lions being given heavy autoplay rotation.

I don’t think that alone would reveal anything. Other variables to consider like the amount of people watching this year vs 2021 etc.

Cruel summer almost already highest taylor song we arnt getting rid of it whilst she touring are we

Can we at least have a more modern version of 3 lions doing well that 30 years ago really annoys me that it's so outdated

'Three Lions' up to #27 on Apple.

Up to #2 on Amazon as well after not being in the top 100.

Edit: Also Fat Les "Vindaloo" #153 on Apple Music & #15 on Amazon.

There's no point trying to modernise a classic. Go listen to 'Three Lions 2010' (featuring a gospel choir and opera singer) if you want a different take on the song.

The Christmas version from the last World Cup is awful as well.

If the Brisbane Lions don't win a premiership in the next 10 years it'll be 30 years since the three Lions back-to-back-to-back wins without another one :magic:

I know no one cares, I'll see myself out.

Whilst three lions can get in the bin, I do enjoy world in motion and glad that had the second biggest boost.

For comparison on the date of the first England game of the last Euros (June 13th 2021; England 1-0 Croatia) - Three Lions was #2 with 490k. Vindaloo was #11 and World in Motion #20.

The first England game of the last World Cup November 21st 2022; England 6-2 Iran) - Three Lions was #17 with 180k. World in Motion was #78 and Vindaloo was #123.

Should also add Bitter Sweet Symphony at #164 to the list of football songs charting today.

I don't wanna hear it at all let alone have the clearly outdated one playing everywhere I go was 58 years ago not 30 which makes it even more depressing
