August 3, 2024Aug 3 Across all 3 looks, Fierce absolutely deserved that win imo. I feel like they just knew that she would kick off and give good TV without the win :lol: I absolutely hateeee the futuristic runway prompts though, every single time we pretty much get what the Jetsons showed the future as in the 1960s. I love Lemon and she is killing it, but it is kind of offputting that every time she does anything they act like she invented drag :lol: It’s very Drag Race España front runner coded. I am loving this season though, vTW always feels kind of unserious so I love that is kind of going balls to the walls for good reality TV first and foremost, it’s what we needed after just seeing how AS9 ended up so sterile.
August 3, 2024Aug 3 I'dve given Eureka the win. Fierce was pretty good but I didn't really get 'future' from the last look. Alexis's design was great but the second look was a bit meh.

August 10, 2024Aug 10 Author Quite a refreshing take on a roast/reading this week, I thought! Lemon, Cheryl and Kennedy were the correct top 3, they all absolutely killed it and it's so good to see Cheryl doing well. Eureka's time was definitely up here, but as much as I love Fierce I can't help thinking Eureka did win that lip-sync :kink: can't complain tho x
August 10, 2024Aug 10 This season should have been 12+ episodes and AS9 should have been 6 episodes :lol: Honestly Cheryl should have won that for me, I thought Kennedy was weaker than both her and Lemon.
August 18, 2024Aug 18 Author Lemon slayed that rusical, she better be wearing the crown next week She really should've gone messy with that beaver this week though and saved Fierce. Alexis and Kennedy were piss poor.
August 19, 2024Aug 19 I think it should probably go based on each challenge tbh so I’d maybe have saved Fierce too, either way I think Alexis wins the lipsync as that kind of mid tempo is so in her wheelhouse and it would feel wrong for Kennedy to have not made the final. When it’s down to who will make the final I think it’s fair enough to take into account track record so I don’t disagree with what Lemon chose to do though.

August 24, 2024Aug 24 Author It has been obvious, but yeah Lemon has totally slayed the whole season and that finale was such a heartwarming episode to watch all round <3 great to see Cheryl so content with herself too and happy with her journey here. Stanning Lemon from the first season of Canada and then her being first out in UKVTW too, I'd never have thought we'd be here with her not faltering and winning!! August 28, 2024Aug 28 Lemon absolutely had to win there was no other outcome but honestly for someone who kinda flopped two seasons, Cheryl really ran her close. And that’s as a Lemon stan and someone who wasn’t fussed on Cheryl before beyond her being nice enough!
August 28, 2024Aug 28 I do wish it had been a top 2 format on a season with only 5 consecutive episodes though, because I think it could’ve given the illusion of a much tighter race. With a top 2 format, I think you arguably have Lemon and Cheryl on 3 wins each. Or Lemon and Kennedy on 3 wins each, depending on which way the production chose it to go. I love the beaver on a regular season but I do think on a short one like this, it didn’t allow other stories to be fleshed out as well as they could.
August 28, 2024Aug 28 Just binged watched the series and I loved it. Few things of note: Lemon - Loved her, thought she was the clear winner throughout really, did feel they pushed for her to be the winner from the get go a little, some of the praise was a little ott. Cheryl - How come she dropped Hole? Loved her though this season, she was my favourite! The transformation in her has been incredible, she has the balance spot on and was strong throughout. Snatch Game Rusical - Absolutely LOVED this! They were all excellent in their individual performances each and every one of them ATE it up! Kennedy fluffed up the talking parts (and was a little out of time with the lip sync lol) but my god that flip onto the counter top!!! Lemon and Cheryl were CLEAR stand outs here. Le-Fil - She was ripped off, while I don't think she would have gone much further she was better in that lip sync and in the performance during The Hole. The Hole - EXCELLENT! One of the best things (alongside Snatch Game the Rusical) I have seen on Drag Race in a long time. I laughed so many times and Lisa Rinna (as much as I can't stand her) was so funny too, perfect for it. Final Lip Syncs - What was with the comment on Lemon and Kennedy doing one of the best lip syncs ever? It was messy as hell. :lol: Then Cheryl and Alexis were WAY better yet they didn't get a comment on how great they were!? Also Cheryl won that lip sync for me, it should have been her and Lemon in the final with Lemon winning overall. Miss Fiercalicious - She was hilarious, such a bad loser! The backstage when she came out as one of the tops and had a strop over the comments I was laughing so much! All in all, a really fun season with a great cast of individuals.

Oh, definitely. There's no way anyone other than Lemon should have won. This is why I don't really like lipsync for the crown as a format. If you're gonna ignore the lipsincs and place whoever wherever (Lemon [well, Alexis moreso]... Jinkx...), then what's the point? I much prefer the rumix end of season episodes/live celebration sorta ones. They feel more like a celebration of what has been achieved in the season to date! And yeah, add an extra episode or two in, 6 eps is very short...
October 1, 2024Oct 1 Sort of dipping my toe back into Drag Race properly after enjoying the first ep of UK Drag Race... So just binged this series and actually really enjoyed it - in fact its a shame the run was so short - 6 episodes wasn't really enough. There were a couple of dubious wins though - Kennedy winning the roast over Cheryl (and Lemon) was a bit odd. Also Alexis winning the ball was very questionable. Its a shame La Kahena was eliminated so early, especially as so much was made of her going first on her season too. Le Fil was has such a loveable personality, again a shame she went early... saying that there was only 6 eps and the field was mostly strong. It was great to see Lemon and Cheryl dominating/ getting praise. I know Cheryl didn't win anything, but she was fairly consistent throughout and deserved at least the Roast win. Fierce was what we've come to expect. I think the only queen who felt a little like they were off/ maybe didn't come bringing their best was Euerka!. But it seemed like she was really struggling at times. EDIT - just remembered Tynomi also competed... I think she was off too - but then she seemed to just always be in her head throughout her original series and this! Overall though a great series and Lemon did deserve the win! October 2, 2024Oct 2 I also only just finished this season. I knew the story that Cheryl supposedly wiped Alexis in the lipsync and so up to this point I assumed it was a genre that favoured Cheryl where Alexis would struggle, but damn, Cheryl really ran rings around Alexis on her own home turf with an upbeat older song. Had no idea Cheryl could dance like that! Great physical comedy acting too.
