My only slight disappointment is that it doesn't have the singles in it - I'd have probably paid more still if it had 12" recreations of the singles with all the perfect artwork they had

I agree (even though I have all the 12” singles)! I’d have laid more for a 5th LP with b-sides, but I hope for a future RSD Pulp b-side album instead.

Quite a few Buzzjack favourites - among them, Mel B, Perrie, Demi Lovato - all seeing releases this year. Don't think I'll be bothering this year, there's nothing here I'd be absolutely desperate to own compared to recent years.

Not much there for me, saves me a massive queue this year.

Disappointing list indeed. Sophie’s Read My Lips is the only one I would really like.

I usually pick up 4 or 5 each year so will save some money at least.

Nothing jumping out at me either, although I think it's been similar for a couple of years now.

There's 9 items I'm interested in for Record Store Day, if money was no object. The cheapest prices I can find online would be £248 (before factoring in postage charges). I just can't! ☹️ The prices vary quite wildly depending on which store you use. For the same 9 items, a different store I looked at is charging £280.

This year the RSD prices feel more out of control than ever. For example, Carly Rae Jepsen's Disco Darling 7" single, including just one track (the other side is blank) is either £19 or £20 depending on the store. £20 for a 7"?!

There's two different KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack releases with exclusive artworks, which are retailing anywhere from £42 to £53. It's only 1LP and it doesn't even appear to be a gatefold. Outrageous pricing.

These are the 9 I was considering, but I've put a strike through the ones I don't think I really need, which leaves me with just 3. Even just three (two albums, one single) would set me back around £75, so probably £80 with postage.

Out of everything I'm interested in, Louise's vinyl is the only item I'd consider to be reasonably priced - £24 in most stores.

Tbh I'm reluctant about buying Mel B's Hot. I can't find it cheaper than £31, and it's only a picture disc with a design that doesn't match the original 2000 release at all. I'm wondering whether to bide my time and see if it gets a price cut at some point. Last year, Melanie C - Reason was still available well beyond the main day, and eventually it got slashed in price - I certainly paid over the odds for it by buying it on the first day.

I have one target and one target only. Hilary duff. Me and my customer loyalty card get into Dussmann at 8am tomorrow. Fingers crossed

Hope those that did RSD today got what they wanted! I might try for Olive - Extra Virgin when the online sales start on Monday night, as I completely overlooked that being on the list.

I had a pre-order arrive for me today from Spinning Around Records of a new pressing MusiconVinyl have done of Alisha's Attic - "Alisha Rules The World" for its 30th anniversary (albeit one Karen and Shelly themselves aren't best pleased about. Something I found out when I tagged them both on socials all excited when it was announced. Oops 😬)

I've also got Pussycat Dolls - PCD (the lilac lava lamp coloured variant) on pre-order from HMV and also the first time pressing of Alexis Strum "Addicted" on pink vinyl on pre-order, both out next month.
