what really ought to happen is a 2024 remix of Honey To The Bee with Billie Eilish to commemorate Eilish finally equalising Piper's amount of UK #1s this year

with Chris Moyles to play it every hour on the radio

Hopefully no christmas songs in the top ten this week...
That top 5 looks locked in. Wham above Mariah already! Poor Shawn, looks like he's gonna miss the top 10 again.

Shame wham is already looking to overtake Mariah. Was hoping she’d keep ahead till December at least. Guess we’re stuck with another month of wham at #1  nice to see Sam still at #4 so top 5 is on lock. And Tate only down to 6 so another top 10 is looking likely yay!

That’s a good lead for flo over Ed, so hopefully top 5 is on lock for them too!

Wham! did more than 4x Thick of It's total on Spotify yesterday due to the snow boost, so don't rule out top 10 of them or Mariah yet imo.

Hope the Pogues can make the top 40 too.

I'm hoping bed chem is that 10th spot but Wildflower seems like it should be taking it. Maybe by Friday they'll both be in and Emptiness Machine or thick of it will be out

Flo have slowed down a lot, 600 copies only since Mon, same as the Kpop band

think they'll end up at #4, but they could easily push and beat the Kpop band

only danger from behind is Chappell Roan who did 8K last week, Ed did 7.6K so Flo already bet that

Disastrous for Shawn, actually thought he would be lower today, on account of being only on 3K on Monday

Great to see Sam comfortably in the top 5! Before the release I had it as a locked in number one but I overestimated his success! top 5 debut is still amazing tho!
But then Louise always sells about 5k of every album she releases, so it seems almost random the female pop artists that retain a sizeable purchasing fanbase and those that don't.

It's a shame particularly for Nelly Furtado as that is a great album. Had an album that strong followed Loose in late 2008/early 2009 it would have done really well. I think she lost momentum by waiting until 2012 for the next English language album after Loose.

I think the key difference here is that Nelly F, Gwen Stefani and Christina are lazy and don't do enough to cultivate their brand or fanbase in the long periods they're away - whereas Louise puts in the graft.
