November 22, 20241 yr Bad dreams is so boring, shame it’s doing so well. The door is miles better though so at least justice that that is also doing well
November 22, 20241 yr "Where art thou? Why not uponeth me?" Shakespeare student! Shakespeare wishes he could be so Poetic. Especially with the line before it that the BBC has to censor
November 22, 20241 yr Obsessed with 'Bed Chem' atm, so many quotable lyrics there. And it's taught me the perfect setting for my thermostat! That temp is really ideal, she's not wrong. About 20 degrees celsius Edited November 22, 20241 yr by EmailsICantChase

Though he’s released music and toured the world since making his debut in 2019, the 31-year-old Georgia-born artist has spent much of the last four years writing his way towards an album that would tell this story – his story – to the people who were ready to receive it. An emotionally walloping and deeply resonant body of work to be released in multiple parts – much like Teddy’s own journey of self-discovery – I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) is an album about diving headfirst into healing without any floatation devices. It finds Teddy working out some very big, very real issues through his music. “Now I’m watching people connect with the messages and stories and realizing not only are the songs helping me, but they’re also helping them too,” he says. “It feels like all that work on the back end, all that internalizing, is finally making a difference. [..] My debut album is an honest look into my mental health journey. I believe therapy could really be beneficial to myself and anyone willing to take the steps to heal. But, for some reason I still have something holding me back. I know there are answers to the questions I’m not ready to ask myself. This album is my first step towards being vulnerable about this journey and the steps I need to take to heal." - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2022 89 Better (MK & BURNS feat. November 22, 20241 yr 'The Door' is definitely the best of all the Swimmers songs I've heard, but it's still... not that good.

November 22, 20241 yr Author 04 | | 1st week Sam Fender People Watching 1st single from People Watching Released: 15th November 2024 Label: Polydor Records Chart Statistics NE (28/11/2024) | 4 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 00 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video DHzaHMmXB6Y Biography Sam Fender crafts the kind of tenacious anthemic rock that punches straight at the gut. Born and raised in 1994 in the northeastern English town of North Shields, the singer/songwriter first picked up a guitar at age 10 and began playing gigs locally as a teen to help support him and his mother. But it wasn’t until he started writing music for himself—rather than what he thought others wanted to hear—that everything started to click. That’s when he wrote his 2017 debut single, “Play God”, a propulsive, politically charged slice of indie rock. It came from a place of deep desperation, “a time where I was like, ‘I need to prove myself. I need to do something that cuts through,’” he told Apple Music. The track earned him a slot on BBC’s Sound of 2018 shortlist, which led to a deal with Polydor Records and the release of his acclaimed 2019 debut, Hypersonic Missiles, an album that channels modern-day anxiety through heartfelt heartland rock. His 2021 follow-up, Seventeen Going Under, hit even harder, pumped full of soaring arrangements and bold statements that continue to prove Fender’s power as a mighty millennial voice for the working class. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2019 89 Play God -1- 2019 48 Hypersonic Missiles -2- MILLIONAIRE 2019 43 Will We Talk? -3- 2019 59 The Borders -IG- 2021 03 Seventeen Going Under -1- MILLIONAIRE 2021 48 Get You Down -2- 2021 41 Spit Of You -3- 2022 47 Getting Started -4- 2022 61 Alright -PS- 2022 71 Wild Grey Ocean -5- 2024 05 Homesick (Noah Kahan & Sam Fender) 2024 04 People Watching -1- 0 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 3 x Top 10 | 3 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 12 x Top 100 Social Media Sam Fender
November 22, 20241 yr Glad this has outpeaked 'Homesick' and more importantly given Sam a second high charting hit as lead artist!
November 22, 20241 yr Shame it wasn't a number one for Sam but glad he has a top 5 debut. Album looking to be massive
November 22, 20241 yr So glad to see Sam get a third top 40 (and top 5!) hit. Wish it could somehow take off in the new year and reach #1 but seems unlikely  Bad Dreams is the only Teddy song I enjoy.
November 22, 20241 yr People watching is brilliant from Sam. I’m glad it’s gone straight into the top 5
November 22, 20241 yr Yes for Sam Fender. Instantly brilliant. Can't wait for the album and so glad this has gone in so high... holds it in good stead for after Christmas.
November 22, 20241 yr Strange how Sam either has a top 5 hit or completely misses the top 40. Spit Of You deserved far more!
November 22, 20241 yr Author This is alright, doesn't sound hugely different from a typical Sam Fender song so my opinion of it doesn't really differ from pretty much any other song of his I've heard.
November 22, 20241 yr Pleased for Sam though I do hope “People Watching” grows on me as I’m finding it rather standard so far.
