November 30, 2024Nov 30 :( I guess I missed out by either 2 or 3 points then? Better than missing out by 1 point for a third time this year but why does it have to be so close every time... -_- I am a bit disappointed to be out this time as I did think this one would have enough fans from this semi but nevermind, just capping off a year that's been a bit of a struggle for me in general especially in the second half (although I at least got one top 10 which was better than last year! and 7/10 qualifiers is not too bad really), fingers crossed for better results in 2025 x 2 times out of 2 that sending a song with <1k Spotify plays has resulted in a DNQ, but I'm sure I'll find myself tempted to try it again at some point :kink: Really disappointing to see Conoria just barely missing out too, that was my 10 pointer and you all made the sheep in the music video sad :cry: But on a more positive note, the qualifiers from these last few posts have been mostly great - yay for Utopia, Trifoski, Skall, Scotland 2 and Rolloland all through :wub: edit: and oop back to a negative note, aw at Bronzil also being denied a 100% Q record for the year, was 14th for me.

November 30, 2024Nov 30 I thought my song was in trouble with this draw (which I would have loved for most of my previous entries), and even more so after the listenthrough. Well that's the streak over at 12 then. No full set of qualifiers for the year, no top 10 this year, no consolation of a record equalling run of Qs without a top 10, and fewer points this year than last despite one fewer DNQ. So, er, yeah not the best outcome, but thanks to everyone who voted, seems it wasn't far off!
