I'm kind of confused how this Band Aid version can conceivably be combined with the original, when it has bits from 20 and 30 in it.

I believe it’s entirely down to crediting. It’s credited to band aid original and labelled (2024 mix) where as others were credited to band aid 20/30 etc.

Sam Ryder is back in at #91, he's fairly high up on Amazon's Christmas playlist still so must be getting some traction from there.

I love her but considering her SMASH hit From the Start (547 million streams on Spotify) is yet to chart it is indeed very lol. I posted in the chart thread that hope she won't become a "Christmas artist" who can only chart with Christmas music (like Bublé these days).

From the Start hit 92 and her Beabadoobee collab A Night to Remember hit 84 so it's not like she's a total unknown. I see a lot of talk about her in some online circles. Shame her only top 40 hits will be from Christmas songs no one consciously chose to listen to, she's very talented and deserves better

I agree, particularly when downloads are factored in too (and whilst it hasn't exactly blown away the competition on iTunes, it's still had a relatively good performance there)

That's not how it works in theory - songs go back to ACR immediately as soon as they hit three years - Pretty sure Perfect and Mary on a Cross both got moved to ACR midweek having been on SCR in the mids.
