There are 3 non Xmas songs back in the top 10 and 10 in the top 40 compared to 2 top 10 and 8 top 40 last year so not really - 'Stick Season' did get to #1 on Boxing Day last year but only barely, less than 100 streams ahead of 'Last Christmas'!

Christmas songs probably held up because a lot of stores (non food) stayed closed Boxing Day with sales starting today this year compared to last so I’m assuming more people stayed at home?

Boxing Day is a public holiday too and only one day after Christmas so many are still in the mood for Christmas music

Nope, that rule is nulled in the first week of the year

The only stuff eligible for a reset this week is stuff that went to ACR in December (plus exceptional circumstances like Murder on the Dancefloor last year).

 

None of Sabrina’s stuff falls into either of those categories so it shouldn’t be getting reset as far as I’m aware.
