January 14, 20251 yr Looks like Franz Ferdinand are not just easily selling 15k then eh... should still be on track to beat the opening of their last album anyway but not sure if they'll hang onto #1. 20 years since their only previous #1 album! On the bright side, at least it appears the Sound of 2025 debacle may have been worth it if it means we get Chappell returning to #1 instead of Sabrina x Really impressive to see Bad Bunny's album in the top 30 (and ahead of Lil Baby!) considering it was released midway through last week, its streams seem to have just kept going up since release worldwide and I guess the same must be true in the UK too. Nice at him sneaking 3 tracks into the singles top 100 update too, with 'DtMF' debuting on Spotify now I guess it should have a good chance of rising from its current #100 position but not sure if either of the other two are likely to hang on. Also yay for 'Headlock' being in the top 40 today :wub: although hmm at no sign of 'Indigo', if it really peaks at #41 now... :(
January 14, 20251 yr Franz Ferdinand have done well already but the Number 1 looks to fall away for them. The top 2 will be Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan but the order could go either way.
January 14, 20251 yr Albums 23 Ringo Starr - Look Up Poor start for Ringo despite all the publicity and being Top 3 on iTunes and Amazon. 500+ sales on Amazon but temporarily out of stock. Must be very few streams.
January 14, 20251 yr Ringo hasn't had a solo top 40 studio album since 1974 and the large majority of his releases since then haven't charted at all (his last album in 2019 scraped in at #99). Not sure there would be any reason to expect this album would do any better?
