Well the last 2 semi 1 qualifiers are both great, glad for Elëdan especially as I was getting worried about them :heart: but I am gutted at Conoria coming 21st a second contest in a row and with 2 really good entries (I'm doing my relisten of semi 1 now, I had it ranked 8th on first listen but actually liked it even more the second time so probably going to move it up at least 1 place) :( #endconoriaracism

...and I did have a bad feeling about Terra Avium too, aw not being wrong on that one </3 unfortunately it was one that I thought I should probably have liked more than I did but I still gave it 1 point and it sucks to see a shoegaze entry missing out.

 

2 more good qualifiers to finish on again though, FARC's in particular grew on me a lot on second listen (I've not heard the original version of the song but I think the vocals fit the production on this version pretty well anyway).

Oh no, I loved 'Projections'

 

My predictions for SF1 were somehow 100% correct, which is a shame as I did really grow to enjoy 'Like a taxi (Oh well)'

One point :'( there is a good chance I shot myself in the foot there. Yet another one of my more downbeat January entries that fails, I get why it did, but it was still such a dreamy entry that hit me really hard on first listen that I did hope would enchant at least some others, I guess I just wasn't brat enough </3 37 points isn't too bad for a DNQ anyway so thanks for the votes.

 

On the bright side, none of my votes DNQed, I'll be rooting for Reckless as well as my SF2 favourites in the final and seeing how much I regret not sending it!

Also forgot to mention earlier but gutted that Trucks is out! I thought it was stand out enough to make it through, only three votes!

 

Also ironically loving it does sound like they’re chanting Drugs instead
