Absolutely adore Sam's album although Little Bit Closer is one of the weakest songs on it for me. Hoping to see People Watching back in the top 10 today at least!

It does have swearing in but it's more likely they skipped it because they don't like playing 3 songs by the same artist unless they're all in the top 10. (even then they usually make a short edit e.g All The Stars for Kendrick and IDGAF for Drake)

This is OK, but I do think there are better songs on Sam's album, and after a couple of listens not as much has grabbed me as his previous album did

Feels like they should be obligated to play new entries unless there is a big influx of album tracks.

When singer-songwriter Billie Eilish feels something new, the first thing she does is take out her phone and write it down. “You can write anything,” she told Apple Music in an interview for the Up Next series in 2018. “You can say the truth, and you cannot tell anyone that it’s the truth—you can just write it, and it’ll be yours.” Raised and homeschooled in Los Angeles by actor/musician parents, Eilish (born Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell in 2001) started writing songs when she was around 11, exploring a strain of melancholy, minimal, and slightly surrealistic pop influenced as much by Lana Del Rey as the radical honesty of rappers like Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. Biography

I think most of the time when an artist is charting with three songs they tend to avoid playing all three if they're not all in the top 10!
