Looks like it! Gave 'Dark Thoughts' a listen earlier and I'm pretty sure it samples 'Frontin' by Pharrell and Jay-Z.

Today's "spot the 2000s sample" also extended to Ashanti's 'Only U' on the Playboi Carti album track 'COCAINE NOSE'.

Yeah the same song sample Chase and Status used for Selecta, at least with Chase and Status it sounded similar to their 2010 era live guitar sound anyway.

I can't decide which out of 'Ordinary' or 'The Giver' I'd "prefer" to see at #1, don't care at all for either of them. So I guess it's interesting that we have a #1 race that's still somewhat unpredictable at this stage (although I'm leaning towards thinking it'll be Alex in the end) but a shame the actual songs aren't so interesting to me.

Alex Warren seems to be getting a lot of undeserved hate on here. I kinda get why 'Ordinary' is dividing opinions but it's just a shame that that's the one challenging for #1 because both 'Carry You Home' and 'Burning Down' are much better songs!

Yeah it’s definitely looking like Alex will get it this week with that lead on all platforms. I don’t actually mind the song, he 100% has better songs but I don’t think this one is particularly bad, it’s just quite boring and dull. Really enjoying the giver more and more with each listen so would have preferred that to get #1
