March 29Mar 29 I do have to wonder what type of sound she’ll go for this time around. Plastic Hearts was very 80’s, Younger Now was very 70’s, Endless Summer Vacation was basically Younger Now with a 90’s tinge, it feels like something new every time so I wanna see what she does next

"Prelude" out now and the title track out at 9am. PDT / noon EDT / 5pm. GMT. "End of the World" is track #3.
March 31Mar 31 Unconventional release strategy like it's probably too late in the week for this week. Next week also Ed factor
March 31Mar 31 Well prelude has left me wanting more , Monday does seem random for a release, hopefully it's not too experimental like the dead pets project

March 31Mar 31 I may need repeated listens of this but I do love how versatile she is and how she switches sound and look as though it’s effortless. Vocally and production wise I like it but it doesn’t scream hit! But I’m seeing this project more as a collective piece and I think that’s her focus as opposed to trying to get another Flowers.
March 31Mar 31 It's interesting! My main issue is I wish her diction was a little better at times. Excited for the album!
March 31Mar 31 The two videos so far got me excited. Looking forward to "End of the World" in a couple hours or so. *_*

March 31Mar 31 This will probably sound better in the context of the album. I'm always impressed with how much she pivots and experiments throughout her career — she could easily play it safe.
March 31Mar 31 It's such an interesting song! Definitely wasn't expecting it to turn out the way it did after it started, but I think it works. It's not a single, but it's definitely divisive and striking (and I think it works, personally).
April 1Apr 1 Yeah I'm not a fan. I'm all for experimentation and not playing it safe, but this just sounds boring.
April 1Apr 1 I'm in awe out of all the tracks from her last album, 'Handstand' seems to be the reference for this new era. Very intrigued indeed.
April 1Apr 1 This is... aptly titled! At the very least, it won't be something that has overstayed its welcome in various charts or I'll hear countless times anywhere like 'Flowers'. Edited April 1Apr 1 by AllStarBySmashMouth
