Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2025.

Last week's results;

Jonas Brothers – Love Me To Heaven [ 7 ]

Mae Muller – Breakaway [ 6 ]

Ashnikko – Itty Bitty [ 3 ]

Joy Crookes – I Know You'd Kill [ 3 ]

Sam Ryder – White Lies [ 3 ]

Ella Henderson feat. Breland – One Door Closes [ 2 ]

Gary Barlow & Colbie Caillat – If There's Not A Song About It [ 1 ]

Leah Kate – Just Because [ 1 ]

==========

Total Votes: 26

Jonas Brothers have already been busy in 2025 having recorded with the likes of Marshmello and Rascal Flatts, as well as upcoming solo projects too! Love Me To Heaven edges it this week in a much reduced turnout of voters than last week!

==========================================

Each week, choose one song only that you feel is your favourite from the selection of releases that week. If you wish to post a rate of the selection of songs in the thread, please feel free to do so.

Grace Davies – MDE

Keri Hilson – Bae

    That Grace Davies song is an absolute whirlwind! Had to go for that. Ariana 2nd - I think that style does really suit her. Limahl probably 3rd - not a bad cover.

    Agreed, Grace's song is so good musically and lyrically, love that. She's strung together so many strong singles in a row now. Grace Davies – MDE (genius, again, I wish this kind of pop was fashionabl

voted for Ariana Grande!

'twilight zone' is my favourite of her new deluxe songs so I'm happy it's the one getting a push

Dua/Troye for me too kink

But in the absence of that... twilight zone x

Also voted Ariana but there were some interesting ones here! (Limahl aside perhaps)

The Ariana track gets better with every listen.

Ariana is my favourite, but thought I'd show some appreciation for MISS KERI BAYBEH!!!! <3

Agreed, Grace's song is so good musically and lyrically, love that. She's strung together so many strong singles in a row now.

  1. Grace Davies – MDE (genius, again, I wish this kind of pop was fashionable/in the charts)

  2. Ariana Grande – twilight zone (another dreamy lovely electro-pop single from Ariana)

  3. Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Relentless Love (this is decent - nice production and vocal, probably not a classic melody though)

  4. Kesha feat. T-Pain – YIPPEE-KI-YAY. (this is pretty fun)

  5. d4vd – What Are You Waiting For (it's ok...nothing more to say on this)

  6. Keri Hilson – Bae (was hoping for something a little stronger from Ms. Keri on her return)

  7. Mae Stephens – Woah Man! (sounds a bit like a limp filler from 2017)

  8. Limahl – A Horse With No Name (skip, sorry, I like the original a lot)
