I have downloaded Remember Monday after seeing they have a chance at top 40. Only 59p on Amazon, so hoping it gets enough support to stay top 40 by Friday.

Boo at Morgan being number one, can't we leave this stuff in America?

I like this photo on the OCC article where it looks like Morgan Wallen has joined The Sherlocks.

It's good to see Remember Monday making Top 40 in the midweeks.

I hoped and expected that to happen, even if it drops away by the official chart on Friday.

I see Rihanna is in at #60.

Just heard it for the first time on R1 and, although it wouldn't be awful for a faceless dance song, it must be seriously disappointing for her fans?

Ella Henderson not Top 100 in the midweeks. Hope she can get there at some point with her new one.

Even as a faceless dance song it’s disappointing. Becky Hill would never release something as bad.

Poor JJ looking to miss the top 40 despite his Eurovision win. Even Remember Monday are heading for 40

Well this is the UK. It’s expected the UK act will do better. I doubt JJ will be too bothered

Remember Monday going for it - 59p reduction and also the 59p download added to their website, plus they put in their fan chat that the vinyl singles ordered now will be signed

maybe they don't know the rule about signed singles

6.3 Pre-signed/Personalised Products Any pre-signed or personalised physical product will not be eligible for inclusion in the chart (i.e. products featuring artist's signature, initial, autograph, writings, doodles and drawings made by artist in any part of physical product prior to sale and/or any other feature that makes the product unique such as numbering).'

Doesn't signing the vinyls make them ineligible or is there a rule that if it's already purchased and THEN signed/announced as being signed it's fine?

Not being advertised as pre-signed so they may have found a loop hole

Surely they should count because they were already sold, and not advertised as being signed when they were being sold so it wasn't an incentive to purchase the vinyl

Last year, The Code by Nemo won and made No 18, whilst the UK entry by Olly Alexander went in at No.48...

So nope, the UK act aren't expected to do better than the winner.

Even after their embarrassing result

The result is not dictating the UKs enjoyment of the song it seems - plus they have done every bit of promo they could since returning to the UK versus Olly who went silent.

Heck gemini charted at 15 after scoring no points, and scooch were top 5 and they only scored 19 points

The UK act doesn't need a fantastic result to chart 🫣

We weren’t in the streaming era either when Jemini charted. If the Jemini song was released in the streaming era, I doubt it would’ve charted

It did climb on Spotify yesterday but dropped today so not sure how likely it is to hang on.
