This is my favourite Zara single in some time! Bomfunk MC’s vibes to the production, very fresh sounding bassline.

I agree, I much prefer it to Pretty Ugly which I liked at first but became grating very quickly

Not as instant as Pretty Ugly, but simultaneously, I think I’m less likely to tire of it than that, because there’s a lot of layers to indulge in on further listens.

The “u-u-u-un” is slightly annoying admittedly and I think I’d rather it was a vocal chop than one long Heidi Range siren note, but I think I’m already over that too.

It’s definitely got some interesting production. I like it but think it’s one I’ll enjoy more with the full album.

Still bopping to Pretty Ugly which deserved more.

Don’t mind this - feels very PinkPantheress production wise (which is definitely not a bad thing)

This is infinitely better than 'Pretty Ugly' which is just shouty noise. A Summer bop and honestly (as usual with her releases tbh) if it was by a current main pop girlie, I think it'd smash.

Pretty Ugly is the better of the two for me. Wasn't really feeling this to begin with but after a few listens it's catching on

Midnight Sun sounds sounds so familiar! Seeing a lot of love for it across my X account today. Probably the most I’ve liked of any of Zara’s material too for some time. She’s one of those acts that’s has crazy potential, can perform, can be a vocalist but the material itself has been what’s holding her back!

Hoping to see her get some decent material what’s deserving of her.
