We need Taylor Swift to bring out a new single so she can put a stop to Ordinary and I hope Skye can break into the top 2

I don’t think that’s going to happen imminently with the statement she put out on Friday to be honest. I personally don’t think Ordinary will have that much longer anyway - there feels like there’s now other songs gaining momentum, I’d give it another couple.

Call me cynical, but I can't imagine they'd have weathered it quite so well if they were women.

Show Me Love has hit ACR at just the right time IMO, it's clearly not going to peak any higher than #3 at this stage. It's just a shame other songs are making a mockery of the process...!

It's been much discussed elsewhere, but the ACR rules becoming increasingly ineffective at fulfilling their purpose - especially it seems with songs which have been out for a while and get a reset around February / March, or in the case of 'Pink Pony Club' had already been reset but then had the boost which took it to the Top 5 and subsequently rose to #1 on relatively low sales. As a well-established hit before then, its streaming profile wasn't going to fall away in the way that the ACR rules were designed to catch songs in decline. See also 'Nice To Meet You' and of course 'Beautiful Things' - the latter is almost certainly on lower unadjusted consumption now than it was immediately prior to reset (it did just over 30k on return to SCR but barely managed the 25% increase so would have been just under 24k if on SCR the week before its February reset, whereas last week it was just above 23k). These songs have clearly been in decline over the course of the last 3 months or so, yet a combination of Bank Holidays / changes in the weather causing the market to jump and the occasional sprinkling of luck allowed them to continuously slip through the net.

Is ‘party 4 u’ on ACR or is it just outside the top 20 from the Friday data?

Just outside the top 20, definitely not on ACR as it increased 2 weeks ago

Ooh what's with PSB's 'Discography' re-appearing? Has it been reissued on vinyl or something?

Yeah I saw there was a new blue vinyl release! I would’ve bought one if I hadn’t already got a standard black copy off eBay a few years ago lol

Just Keep Watching potentially the third F1 themed song to reach the Top 10?

Wait what are the other 2?

Supreme by Robbie Williams in 2000 and David Guetta ft Sam Martin 'Dangerous' in 2014, sorry I was including music videos that had an F1 theme.

Another week with Alex Warren on top, oh what joy.

And another week of Pink Pony Club at #2, which is becoming almost as tedious.
