For me, it was "Spinning Around" in the summer of 2000, when I was just 5-years-old. I believe I was holidaying in Skegness at the time. Prior to this, I never heard of her or any of her songs.

Hard to pinpoint which song exactly but my earliest memories are watching the music channels and that would have been 2000/1, so it'll have been one of 'Spinning Around', 'On a Night Like This' or 'He

Jump to the Beat on a TOTP repeat not long after Kylie had came back with Light Years. I hadn't even heard of her until then 😅 Then I found 'All I Wanna Do' on one of those dance compilations before

I Should Be So Lucky.

Before I really even knew who Kylie Minogue was.

Literally a fan from the very first (UK) hit.

I think it might've been 'I Believe In You' in 2005 as Now 60 was the first album I ever owned and it was on there!

I distinctly remember trying to phonetically sing along as a 7-year-old lol

Lucky, obvs.

I didn’t even know Locomotion was her first ever single. In fact I heard the original 1987 Aussie release that was less poppy only in 1994!!

Hard to pinpoint which song exactly but my earliest memories are watching the music channels and that would have been 2000/1, so it'll have been one of 'Spinning Around', 'On a Night Like This' or 'Head'. I remember 'Lucky' and 'Locomotion' regularly getting plays as well so it could have been one of them too (off on a tangent here, but reminds me that I owned some pop compilations that had both songs on; one of them was 'Dance Party' which had a second disc where you could learn the dance moves!).

My mum had the 'Light Years' CD which I listened to all the time. I still have the CD and the booklet is worn in the middle because I used to read the lyrics and look at the photos every time I listened.

I remember seeing the video for I should be so lucky as a young child, I was born when it was #1 in the charts and my mother was telling me. The first song I remember paying attention to myself was Spinning around.

What about Dannii?

Mine was Love & Kisses

Both the debut singles for me!!

My first Dannii song was 'I Begin to Wonder' thanks to SingStar games lol

oh wow i used to love a big of singstar LOL

'Breathe'! My mom bought me some compilation back in 1998 or 1999, and that was on it.

I didn't make a connection that it was KYLIE until many years later though, as I always thought of this song as an obscure track by some dance artist. 🙃

ISBSL for Kylie and L&K for Dannii - that makes me old 😂

Same me for me and it definitely makes you feel old when you were around a couple of years before both were even released.
