  • So far, Beautiful Things's streams are lower this week than last week. Hopefully, DCL-3 this Friday. 🤞

  • At the end of the day the true evil has been defeated and we have two BANGING songs competing for number 1 instead of being terrorised for more weeks of Boredinary!!

Wish it was an uncharted one such as Dont go away, Champagne supernova, Shes electric or Married with children

They haven't been performing three of these.

Apparently Little By Little has had an unexpectedly huge reception on the tour, I didn't realise it was so well loved. Live version sounds decent though. I'm still surprised they left off Stop Crying Your Heart Out from the same album (and The Importance Of Being Idle for that matter too, it really is a 90s fest).

Could that 'No Broke Boys' thing be challenging for #1 soon do we think?

Not with the way Netflix are pushing Golden

Its for kids and the summer holidays - so off course its going to be the time when it gets pushed/ more people watching.

Even though I don't think it's Tinashes best, to see her get a #1 would be such a moment! And it's still a bop either way imo

School holidays so family friendly films are always pushed, they arnt deliberately pushing it because golden topped the charts 🤣

Agreed! (Although the original version is SOOOO good!)

I don't see this hitting number 1 with 'Golden' in the way probably up until Sabrina releases her album, but the fact Tinashe is even being considered? GIVE ME MOREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

3.8% down from Fri-Wed last week to this week. A decline this week looks very likely, it's whether it was bigger than the market, and whether last week's was too (which didn't look clear cut).

In all honesty, I'm not that bothered by Beautiful Things being in the charts still. It was annoying when it was taking up a place in the Top 5, but as it's generally been between 10 and 15 for a while, it's not like it's been stopping stuff from going Top 10 (though it might this week).

Are they doing much to push it, though? It's in a major film, it's had a few remixes released, that's about it.

Has the film had a theatrical release before? This might just be so the film gets considered for awards or something

Love Little By Little myself!

Not sure it has but Netflix do release some of their movies to the cinema. I just think they weren’t expecting it to become quite a phenomenon. The way it built hype was very reminiscent to ‘Encanto’. And yes, for it to be considered for awards contention I believe it must have at least a limited run in the cinemas. But I think that may be an American thing, not sure.

They’re probably just meeting the demand that people have been requesting it for a theatrical release tbh and Netflix are just being smart and striking whilst the iron is still very hot.

My cinema is pretty much sold out nearly of every screening so…

Any chance of Pierce the Veil going top 40?

Been pretty consistent these past few days.

I'd be surprised if this had much of an effect on the chart though, it's bound to be appealing to those already streaming the tracks regularly?

Well you can watch the streaming for those songs for the next 10 days I imagine they’ll get a good 5-10% rise at minimum.

Just saw Netflix give another shout out
