Great streaming impact from Deftones, shame they released the same week as Wolf Alice as they probably would've got a number one! Will be interesting to see how well Sombr's album does officially

Given how long people in the real world continue to listen to established favourites rather than following the chart geek fantasy of moving onto new releases every week, I'd say they are very much in touch with reality. 'back to friends' and 'undressed' are still more popular than '12 to 12'.

Apple Music tends to playlist more dance tracks than Spotify; I don't think this remix will do as well on Spotify.

When I listen to this new remix I miss the catchy synth riff from the original Calvin and Florence track.

Could be in a fight for top 10

Think it's important to remember sombr's album doesn't have physicals until November, so wouldn't surprise me if it performed similarly to Benson Boone's first album (which didn't have physicals in week 1), with a top 20 debut and some decent longevity thanks to its streaming hits.

Amusingly I think that listener archetype very much does exist, and they've already moved on from that month old single (or at least, it's out of power rotation)
