Ok, well, moving forward, I prefer any veto I may get to be kept a secret unless I'm open about it. I have admitted to being vetoed in the past, but not which song (as far as I can remember), and I always feel stupid enough as it is with some of the comments the vetoes get. I probably should have done more research this time, but I honestly didn't know who Perrie was and assumed she was a new artist. I just saw a new song by an artist I didn't recognize at all and with not that many views. I loved the song and sent it. Some artists may just be in my blind spot because I live in Norway, so I'm not trying to be cheap or anything, I just live in a different popcultural landscape that sometimes overlap, but mostly not.

Astrid S is for instance well known over here, and to me, she probably should have been vetoed (especially when Dagny's Strawberry Dream was), but again, different landscapes and I just see things differently. That's why we have the veto process and it should be okay to try to send things, and also okay to, you know, make mistakes.

Sorry, I'm not angry, by the way. Just embarrassed more than anything.

Oops sorry - I did wonder if it might be the case that you just didn't recognise the name in which case fair enough (Little Mix and especially their solo careers ofc not being as big of a thing outside the UK - the veto rules are quite UK centric just due to the majority of participants living here).

tbf I probably shouldn't disclose who sent vetoes if they don't do so themselves so I will not do so in future x
