Although there are still some well-known ones I’d call safe choices.

Yes we're quite lenient in this contest. We prefer people to choose songs that weren't hits if they can, but it's not mandated. We don't allow top 10 hits but we've had quite a few songs that did chart over the editions of the contest - although I think even those have been new discoveries for the majority of participants, it's quite difficult to balance what the mods know well (through being much older haha!) against those younger members who may not have heard the tracks.

I'd say this edition is probably the most obscure set of tracks so far.

Dansa I Neon is legendary, it apparently won a BJSC Eurovision spin-off according to a post by Qween, although I cannot remember anything about that or find any evidence of the contest otherwise existing, so it must have been a very long time ago.

Votes are in, very enjoyable contest this one with a lot of variety. My votes swapped around an unusually high amount for one of these contests, one song which I didn't even include on my initial voting shortlist ended up rising to 6 points and another one went completely the other way (which was actually a song I discovered and had as a backup myself while searching for an entry).
