(And then when someone did get her into the contest with another song later on it didn't even qualify. Similar with Ryn Weaver, I remember she was blocked from being sent with 'OctaHate' (iirc) due to many confirmations but then years later finally appeared in the contest last month and DNQed)

And the song that was confirmed 4 times in an hour should be a veto, 100%. Noone cares about blog coverage anymore, if something gets confirmed 3+ times then it should be an auto-veto, no need to count points at all.

4 confirmations with no other veto points is only worth 10 veto points which technically isn't enough to be a veto but in practice yes with all the confirmations being in the initial rush there's no way it's not going to be thrown out anyway. I imagine there's a fair chance it'll be confirmed at least one more time anyway.
