Tyla's "Chanel" enters at #171 on spotify! Hope it keeps climbing - it's getting some playlist support now too (added to today's top hits). If it climbs enough we may see it top 100 in the singles chart on Friday (taking into account 3 track rule/ACR)? Also enters the Apple Music chart at #194! That looks promising. Hope it can become a top 40 hit, perhaps in the new year once the Christmas songs are gone?

Nobody else will care bar me (I mean, check the signature, it checks out) but Lush Life now up 18 PLACES to #44 *.

RESET IT NOW.

Why is this getting revived like this all of a sudden?

Not complaining though.

It all started because, during Lush Life on her current tour, she brings someone up on stage to have a dance with her to that song. But a girl in Amsterdam knew the routine, so the video of her killing the routine went viral:

That video alone has 31.5million views. Now, everyone who gets up on stage tries to do the choreography and TikTok has picked up the dance as a viral trend.

I Run by HAVEN/ HVN now showing up on Apple again at 176.

Although on Apple HAVEN is charting, on Spotify HVN is charting mathswoman

In terms of versions, no. On Apple, AIWFCIY is an anomaly, as it was last year. On Amazon Prime chart - there are multiple versions of most songs (but Last Christmas has strangely been completely removed - but is still streaming loads there).

There is a second Amazon chart (for users of Amazon Music Unlimited) that only lists songs once - and from their positions, appears to combine versions).

Out of interest how many Christmas playlist are there on Spotify?

Loads. But this is the big global one that has the most impact on the UK chart.

Such a shame she couldn't have orchestrated a viral dance trend for something like 'Midnight Sun' instead.

I mean, there kinda was one! I saw a lot of people doing it, my friends at work even know the Midnight Sun dance, it just didn’t seem to translate into enough, sadly.

It’s so funny to me that all of her hits (this, water, push 2 start) are these bright summery dance bops and they always start peaking in November.

Some very big (strange) moves on Spotify today even outside the Christmas songs.

Sleigh Ride unsurprisingly takes a big hit from being moved down Christmas hits.

That’s So True up 39 places and now above Pink Pony Club. Has secured #2 on Spotify YE now as a result probably
