I just love doing the certifications and observing the charts. It pleases my little, autistic brain.

I'll be continuing to do the certifications every Friday. It'll be a nice distraction.

Am I the only one here that somehow looks forward to that more than the weekly OCC singles and albums charts? 😃

Not long until it is 21 times platinum!

It took 3 and a quarter years to go from 18 to 19 times platinum, so it will take 6.5 years to become 21 times platinum, in August 2032. That's a long time!

(Assuming it keeps selling at the same rate).

Love to see 'Blinded By The Lights' going platinum, 'Molly's Chambers' and 'Supercut' gold and 'DtMF' and 'Crack Rock' silver ❤️

I can't wait for this monumental album to reach 6M copies. cheeseblock

It's nice to see Troye Sivan - Something to Give Each Other go Silver. His second album Bloom still hasn't managed that, despite being released 5 years prior to Something to Give Each Other!

19x platinum for 21 is insane!

On the other hand, 15x platinum for an album like ÷ is just depressing

Controversial! I love both of these albums.

It's not controversial its just a majority buzzjack thing that ED is somehow the antichrist, I enjoy both , divide probably edges its for me though

Beck Loser Plat 🙌

Remember it being out around the same time as Suede’s stay together & blur’s girls & boys but thinking he’s be another American indie one hit wonder, happy I was wrong.

Me constantly pressing the refresh button on the BPI certifications website to see if they've updated them yet.

casino-oldpeople.gif

There are 3 albums that the Official Charts Company are refusing to certify. Three Cher albums: Gold and Icon should be Gold and The Very Best Of Cher should be Platinum. For some reason they won't send the sales to the BPI so they can be re-certified. I've seen the sales on the OCCs database which prove they are over it but they are ignoring every email I send them.
