Tomcraft - 'Loneliness' certified gold wub

I remember that still being on the list of uncertified #1s just a few years ago so it's wonderful to watch it go from strength to strength now. Tune!

Yeah I thought the same! Took an eternity to reach Silver even though it passed 100k in 2003 and doesn’t seem like it was ever that forgotten it meant it remained uncertified for so long; now for it to pass Gold in a couple of years… I wonder if the physical sales weren’t included in the first certification? Maybe there was a label change?

I just love doing the certifications and observing the charts. It pleases my little, autistic brain.

Separate imo - one for each week

I'll be continuing to do the certifications every Friday. It'll be a nice distraction.

Not quite sure but it was featured in Saltburn a couple of years ago so I assume that has aided its growth in more recent times!

Jason Derulo’s “Fight For You” has to be one of the slowest runs to silver for post-2010s hit in recent memory, it was at 120k units by the 2012 and 14.5 hours for 80.5k units seems like an awfully slow time.

The last hit song I recall taking this long to go silver was Boyzone’s "Gave It All Away" but that was barely a hit on a technicality of pre-order hype/build and fan base near exclusively being made of people who were also fans 20 years prior being eager to hear the tribute the recently passed away member. also incredibly somber without replay value.

"Fight For You" is a uptempo dance pop song by an artist who still streams incredibly well.

Selling 80.5k units in 14.5 hours seems like a hell of a rapid sales feat, if you ask me!! 😂 😂
