OCC please clarify how the reset rules work now as they clearly aren't what you say

Have they ever put in writing the rules for January?

I assume they gave resets for two reasons: those that went to ACR in December/end of November, and those resets (Tiffany - maybe Clash) that were missed earlier in the season.

Because many songs increased by more than 25% this week, they ignore the 25% increase this week - in other words, they make all their reset decisions earlier in the week.

I don’t know which weeks Diana Ross had the appropriate increase.

This sombr track must be a new entry as I don’t think they’ve played it before.

Think we can put the "one reset max per artist" thing to bed now.

Because many songs increased by more than 25% this week, they ignore the 25% increase this week - in other words, they make all their reset decisions earlier in the week.

I don’t know which weeks Diana Ross had the appropriate increase.

she would've the same week as tiffany as she was played in s5 ep 1 and tiffany was s5 ep 3, episodes 1-4 all aired together at the end of november

Sad times when the only song I like in the top 10 so far is a song from an animated musical. Raye and Sam Fender saving it for me

Golden will probably be top 20 of 2026 drama

We've also seen Murder on the Dancefloor get a reset by the final chart on this particular week two years back, but that could have been a label request despite the streaming increase for all we know.

That all makes sense. There was a sort of precedent for 'Upside Down' in 'Murder On The Dancefloor' getting a reset this week two years ago, but I guess that's a while ago now.

Biography

In addition to tending to an acting career that has included a prominent role on Stranger Things, Joe Keery maintains a thriving indie music career under the name Djo (pronounced “Joe”). Born in Massachusetts in 1992, he first released music under the name Cool Cool Cool before cutting his teeth as a touring and recording member of the Chicago rock band Post Animal. Keery stepped away from the group due to his increasingly busy acting schedule but began releasing music as Djo in 2019. He followed that year’s psychedelic-pop-leaning Twenty Twenty with 2022’s DECIDE, a full-length that incorporated synth-heavy pop that was full of heart—as embodied by the 2024 viral hit “End of Beginning,” which tapped into longing and nostalgia for the past. - Apple Music
