  • I have a story about the Liberty X song - and to this day the events are referenced on their wiki page! I went to uni in Aberystwyth and they were announced as the headline act for our yearly May Bal

  • That Liberty X cover is very poor and devoid of any real redeeming qualities, so I'll go with that.

  • Voted Liberty X but several of these are similar levels of 'not great really'. I had to remind myself how the Taio Cruz song went and even then I only vaguely remembered it. (Welcome back to hosting

I think I'll go for Mis-teeq first. Not really crazy on that one from them. Steps weren't far off though but the first side is nice enough I guess.

So many songs I love here

Expect my fave to be straight out but I love in hope

No way at the best song already having 2 votes!!! drama

I am persuaded by Jessie Where’s comment about Liberty X so have also voted for that

The drab Liberty X cover, such a poor follow up to Song 4 Lovers, which I loved.

It's quite a bland round but I bought three of them on single - Summer Sunshine, Flux and Up All Night.

I went to uni in Aberystwyth and they were announced as the headline act for our yearly May Ball. I was a massive fan of theirs so snapped up those tickets (Chesney Hawkes and a couple of other artists were also there!)

Liberty X came on and mimed ‘A Night to Remember’. But during the performance the area started to fill with smoke and we were evacuated at the end of the song. Turns out someone ‘too cool’ for Liberty X set off a smoke bomb…

For the next 40 or so minutes, people repeat sang the chorus to ‘A Night to Remember’ to try and will the gig to restart. When we were allowed back in, we were told that Liberty X had left….(you can imagine the response that got). Chesney Hawkes had to do a longer set, which basically meant he repeat sang ‘one and only’!

Had rotten luck with those balls - the next year Jamelia was scheduled to headline and cancelled on the day

You may have been there the same time as me? I started in 2007! We were promised Sugababes for my first May Ball but one of them missed a flight so they’ve remembered cancelled. As if they couldn’t have just plucked someone from the crowd 😂

I don't know a lot of these songs. Didn't know Bloc Party did Eurodance but thats a great discovery.

Voted for Taio, I much prefer his song 'Break Your Heart'.

I finished in 2007! Aber just has bad luck then?!

Although I think Girls Aloud were there in 2003 or 2004 and actually turned up!

Love that the song is so bad somebody went to such extreme measures to make it stop lol

Never thought that Liberty X song is so unpopular - I found it quit nice - gone for James Morrison as I find that song really boring.

With my rose tinted glasses on, I'd say I liked the Liberty X song for what it was - but in hindsight it was such an odd choice after Song 4 Lovers seemed to be a bit of an unexpected hit
