This was definitely the weakest category for me in this round. The Nadia Oh song was a marked improvement on the one from the Earth round, but for me it was a step down for Delta, Kelly and Nelly!

02 Michelle Branch - You Set Me Free (nice choice, didn't know this song but it's strong)

03 Kelly Clarkson - Gone (Not in my top five from Breakaway but still solid)

04 LiSA - Gurenge (紅蓮華) (enjoyed this much more than the song in the last round, good job!)

More fantastic selections from Chappell and Kelly! Both are highlights of their respective albums. Surprised Kesha is so high in my ranking but the song sounds better to my ears and I wasn't really blown away by the rest. The Michelle and Nelly selections were nice enough but nothing standout for me: round 1 choices >>>. ROSALIA's song was an interesting choice for sure. I can't say it massively appealed to me but it had its qualities. Much prefer this Lily track to URL Badman but still yet to see a song of hers I properly like. Toni is yet to wow me tbh but heading in the right direction at least. FKA's song had some nice parts but generally not my cup of tea oops. Delta was lacking for me here but I reckon she's got far better to come! The bottom two

Anything from 'Breakaway' will finish high for me, but this is my favourite non-single from that album! So good! ADORE that Chappell song too. I really hope that can somehow go viral at some point and become a smash for her. I think people are doing the most about that Delta song. It's wonderful! LiSA's is a nice discovery and another solid Michelle Branch entry. I like the FKA Twigs track and the Kesha song is annoying but a bop. ROSALÍA is... nice. Same with Toni. Never really liked that Lily track all that much. WHO is behind Nelly? Because I just WANT TO TALK!!!!!!! That Nadia Oh song... well... it exists I guess lmao.

Well this was a ROUGH selection 🤣 Keshas Blow is one of my faves of hers, such nostalgia for me. Kelly, Lily and Chappells songs also stellar! Delta, Rosalia and Toni’s are all good, I definitely need to listen to more of Toni’s discography. Michelle, Nelly and LiSA meh. FKA and Nadia I couldn’t even listen in full, hideous !

In case anyone was wondering why, 'Gurenge' was the opening theme to the first season of possibly the biggest anime of the 2010s - Demon Slayer, and is definitely LiSA's most well-known song in a career where her most well-known songs are anime themes, she started her career doing those (but she definitely has a lot of potential beyond that and I need to explore her more).

good song from Michelle Branch, shame they decided to withdraw, good top half here - Chappell's choice is amazing, and also a great selection from Rosalía again, I used to like 'Blow' but I think these days it's one of Kesha's more basic ones, wasn't feeling the dance ones at all.
