Hope Titi Me Pregunto holds in the top 20 till Friday, such a bop that totally passed me by in 2022 but been obsessed with it the last week.

How many weeks has reign on me had in the top 10 now? Must be close to 30 surely? I do like it but it is a bit crazy it’s now heading to no1 after all this time.

  • You clearly haven’t been frequenting the pubs I have in recent weeks!

  • People don't need to understand a song to enjoy it. (It was already a top 40 hit on its original release long before he had anything to do with the Super Bowl btw...)

"Only" 17 weeks in the top 10! 33 weeks in the top 20 though

Fun chart stat. Went into research mode with the talk of Olivia Dean potentially being no.1 this week and potentially soon after as well, with combination of “So Easy”/“Rein Me In”.

This would be one of the quickest accumulation of three No.1’s for a British woman (or women led group) ever.

If Olivia Dean's two more number one’s occur by the charted dated Friday March 27th (which does seem likely), she would be the quickest British female solo artist to amass three No.1 singles as a lead artist (it would be 189 days [27 weeks] since “Man I Need” went number one).

The current quickest is currently Geri Halliwell, whom amassed her first three number ones in 30 weeks.

If you include her feature on “Hot Right Now”, Rita Ora is the quickest at 27 weeks.

The Spice Girls are the quickest overall female act with 23 weeks.

Every British woman with at least three number ones below (and how long it took for it to occur).

Spice Girls (161 days, or 23 weeks)

• Wannabe (July 21, 1996)

XCX would overtake Adele’s current record (10 years, 33 weeks) to amass three number ones whenever she gets her 3rd (currently on 13 years since “I Love It”), whilst Raye would fall between Jess Glynn and Dua Lipa at 3 years however many weeks, if another song from her sophomore album goes number 1 by the end of 2026.

Might need to re-visit Little Mix, their third number one was Black Magic not SOTME x

Looking at the date though, that was when Black Magic was released so I think all the info is correct, just with the wrong song title

It was the era of songs being "held back" still, so it had weeks to accumulate pre-orders here, and by then we were the only country doing such a thing!

That makes sense 🙌 just was surprised we were the only ones to get it so late,

The Wednesday update MAY arrive late tonight on Buzzjack - I won't be home until perhaps 6:45, though another chart mod may or may not get there before me. Just a heads up, and thanks in advance for your patience! x

If Rein Me In goes number 1 on Friday, I hope So Easy gets it next week

According to Music Week, Rein Me In is on 25,697 sales and So Easy on 24,182.

Id of though So easys best chance would be in 2 weeks after the Brits , especially since RMI is still climbing atm

Man I Need at number 4 on ACR. Imagine they randomly reset Man I Need and it stops Rein Me In from going number 1?
