I really hope Leigh-Anne doesn’t get that #3 spot.

Perrie reached #3 with 15,243 copies sold.
Jade reached #3 with 23,263 copies sold.

It would feel unfair if Leigh-Anne could claim “All Little Mix girls went #3 in the UK!” when she’s only sold around... 9k.
Especially the position is boosted by multiple physical variants rather than genuine demand or streaming support.

Yes, Perrie had variants too but she had two singles that actually connected a little with the public (Forget About Us + If He Wanted To He Would)
There was at least some interest.
A #3 built almost entirely on variants and minimal streaming wouldn’t carry the same weight.

What would bother me the most is the narrative.
If all three girls end up peaking at #3, the general public will just remember that they all had the same level of success when that’s clearly not the case.
Jade is the only one whose album actually gained some traction and had visible impact.
Perrie and Leigh-Anne’s projects didn’t really connect in the same way, and that difference matters.
A chart position alone doesn’t tell the full story.

Give it a rest, luv x

Anyway, still routing for Leigh to grab #3 (I'm sure it won't as I wasn't expecting Hilary to fight with releasing the "Mine" versions! I love that album too <3) but Leigh debuting at the same position that Little Mix, JADE & Perrie's first albums did... would be quite the feat!

  • I would say that 99.9% of the general public couldn’t care less or be able to tell you where any of the albums charted.

There was me thinking it was all luck... or something.

  • P!nk and PinkPantheress ought to duet a cover of Pink Pony Club with backing from Pink Floyd then that should resolve any confusion

Omg Charli on the cusp of top 10 with CoL! wub

Stateside needs to go top 5 at least! She should surprise-perform this at the BRITs.

Hopefully Pink giving at least one televised speech (Producer of the Year, hopefully she wins Best Dance Act too) gives it some kind of boost as well.

Top 3 looking unlikely for leigh now but if you told me last week she would be top 20 id of been surprised (even if i hoped for higher)

Hopefully more like @Mr. C. Joel get those negative sales hilary 🤣🤣

It could be doable. Leigh-Anne pulled almost 1k ahead from start of week to mid while George pulled in half that. Hilary only pulled a little ahead of Leigh-Anne too so there's a chance

Took me a moment to realise you didn't mean P!nk. I was like, when did she become known as a producer lol

Yeah I wish people would stop doing that, it's thrown me a couple of times too, it's almost as bad as abbreviating without context! Especially when there's literally a very well known artist called P!nk lol

I’m surprised

Hilary deserves -2,000 copies for duping fans! It’s one of the things that really annoys me. It’s pretty much fraud…no different to fake signatures.

I can't find a source for this as it's hard to search for but I think I remember reading somewhere that she herself wanted people to refer to her as 'Pink' for short.

(It has thrown me off a couple of times as well but have more or less got used to it - P!nk is not exactly an artist who's going to be brought up very much in current chart discussion!)

Well in that case it's PinkPantheress's fault!

And yeah for now I guess, but it will certainly get more confusing if there comes a time when they're both in the chart simultaneously... I'm sure P!nk must be on course to release an album this year, it's been a while since Trustfall.

How has Hilary Duff duped fans sorry am I missing something here?

See I liked Hilary Duff and the album sounded pretty solid until I got my auto-penned signed vinyl (which I returned) and I’m not interested now. Especially when she was commenting on posts saying her hands were aching from Signing :/

How does one know that anything that didn't see signed for themselves was auto-signed? I assume it's not a print?

I'm someone that doesn't particularly care if what I'm buying is signed or not, if I'm having something signed it only really means something to me if I was there!

Usually you can tell when they’re signed as the signatures vary, smudges etc, it’s usually fairly obvious when it’s autopen

You can tell autopen easily because the signature is shaky on the edges. A real signature is obviously done in one swoosh with the pen mine was shaky at every point and the edges were shaky.

It’s all over TikTok now someone has compared 15 different ‘signed’ copies and they are all identical and all feature the shaky edges.
