BOOT CAMP: PART TWO

THE DEEPEST OF CUTS

SOLO MALE

Boot Camp: Part Two awaits, and for three unlucky artists - Nadia Oh, Guitarricadelafuente and Ace of Base - they've been left in the wild wondering if they'll ever be found again. But for the remaining artists, there's a glimmer of hope. Just a short trek away are vital resources to refuel the spacecraft and continue on the mission to find Lady BuzzJack and return her to the homepage before time runs out and her captor makes her disappear forever. There are limited resources though, and only those that come across them will be able to board the spacecraft again, while three more artists will be left behind on this picturesque planet. It's time to welcome back the solo male artists, once again, to the stage to perform for you, the voting BuzzJack public. And this time, they've dug deep.

How it works:

Once you have listened to all of the artists perform you should post a ranking of each of the performances. You can rank them from best to worst (making clear which is your favourite down to least favourite), or use the template below:

01 (favourite)

02

03

04

05

06

07

08

09

10 (least favourite)

For those voting who have entered one of the artists into the competition, you should rank all ten performances in your own category (however it's encouraged that you vote in both other categories), and when totalling up scores your entry will be removed from the list to retain anonymity in the competition.

As always, even if you are not competing in The Pop Factor you can vote too!

When voting closes, the nine male soloists with the highest scores will jump back on board Pop Fleet 26 and set flight for Judges' Houses while ONE of the males will be eliminated from the competition and will not be going through.

IMPORTANT:

The Rebecca Ferguson Lobster of Resurrection is in play this round, and if whomever holds it ends the round in 10th place they will not be eliminated from the competition. Instead, the artist that ends the round in 9th place will be eliminated.

Voting will close on Monday 2 March 2026, 17:59 GMT

Let's say hello to the artists again and find out what they consider to be THE DEEPEST OF CUTS...

All 3 categories - I don’t think I know a single song by the title

The only one I know is Eric Saade because it was a winner in BJSC long time ago!!!

And George Michael as well sarah

I could swear 'IN A DREAM' was a single? x

Take Yourself Home led the EP (IIRC) then I think it was Easy that was pushed with Kacey Musgrove. I think IN A DREAM was just a popular track on the EP... should defo have been a single though

Seeing the After Hours rep for the Weeknd reminds me Alone Again would’ve been amazing for this round. Not familiar with this choice but sounds promising on first listen.

Oh I think I'm just thinking of the fact that there were only 2 proper songs on the EP that weren't singles and all the focus was on 'IN A DREAM' so it basically felt like one.

Yeah, I didn’t realise it wasn’t a single either because it’s one of my favourite Troye songs, I must’ve just assumed along the way.

That's a very wise choice for Eric as a former BJSC winner. Hope he can continue to upset the odds. Otherwise only familiar with Shawn and The Weeknd.

Ohhhh! That Troye song is a BANGER!! I actually forgot that EP was actually up for choosing for some reason lmao.

I definitely would have thought ‘Honey’ or something from ‘Blue Neighborhood’ would have been selected so nothing else got a look in lol

I know The Weeknd, Eric, Troye and Shawn from this group.

Edit: Turns out ‘Honey’ was a single..?? Who knew!!! 😯

My mum used to play that George Michael album in the car but I don't remember this song, so it essentially felt like a discovery. A great one at that.

A surprising Bowie pick but not complaining as I'm a big fan of the Low era wub hope the lack of vocals won't be too much of a risk.
