I'm delighted that 'Mary' got an outing here. The grief-stricken lyrics, vocals and piano are so haunting to me.

I was excited to hear ROSALÍA sing in Italian and 'Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti' did not disappoint <3 beautifully spiritual, with lovely piano and grand strings throughout. THAT ending note too! The transition between this song and 'Berghain' is the best moment of sequencing on the album.

'Pussy Palace' is perhaps not the most conventional pick for this round sonically but it really delivers on raw storytelling, much like the project in general.

Top 3 Atomic Kitten songs for me. ADORE IT! This version of 'Piece By Piece' is ofc sublime and incredibly emotional. 'Pussy Palace' is top 3 Lily songs. SOOOO GOOD! 'HEAVEN' is STUNNING. It deserves so much more love here. It's an absolute BEAUT! 'Forever With Me' is top 3 Conan discoveries of this competition for me. Gorgeous song! ROSALÍA's choice is beautiful! That ending particularly <3 one of my absolute faves from 'LUX'. ABBA's song is lovely. Not really one I care for too much though tbh.

Not a fave Delta song for me but it's nice! Same goes for Chappell tbh. Scissor Sisters is an odd one coz I like it when I listen once, but the more I was playing it, the more it was grating... one of those I won't revisit too much but I like it when I've not heard it for a while. Liked the David song more than I expected to, but it goes on a bit. We all know my thoughts and opinions on Florence. HAIM's song is soooo boring. Not sure I get the fuss with that one I'm afraid.

I remember watching Kelly’s performance on Piece By Piece on American Idol back in 2016 and I was absolutely blown away. I liked the album version when I bought it it back in 2015, but the Idol performance version just elevated it for me.

For a long time Not Me, Not I was my favourite song from Innocent Eye. It’s been replaced now, but I still love it.

Bowie quite possibly and I think Haim are struggling after their triumph last week unfortunately. A tricky theme for them as they’re all about the mid tempo chugging rhythms.
