They should have released it when the hype was there after Coachella and released it within the tracking week instead of losing sales by releasing it Thursday instead of Friday.

She debuted with 1.5 million first day on Spotify last October with her song The Life of a Showgirl, and went from that to barely scraping the top 40 with Such a Funny Way in the space of like 6 months.

I'm worried for her.

Id say that was probably down to randomly releasing it on christmas eve of all days , a deluxe track when noone give a damn about anything but christmas music 🤣🤣

I think her popularity has declined a bit but it is still definitely helping Bring Your Love.

I think sabrinas popularity is also being over exaggerated here too

MBF first day streams Tears aside which was the single and had a video etc her second highest didnt even do 3 times the amount the MadSab collab did on day 1

As for TLOAS doing 1.5 million that wasnt exactly a Sabrina track was it 🤣

I think it'd probably be languishing in the lower part of the top 100 without her, there's no doubt Sabrina has done the heavy lifting here.

Apple Music for me still has Man I Need, Rein Me In, Raindance, Where Is My Husband, Ordinary and So Easy in the top 15, all of which were there before Xmas. Madness like!

We need to remember that while Sabrina is hot property right now, it is unlikely she will maintain commercial success as long as Madonna did. Realistically ‘Hard Candy’ was M’s last big era so she had a stellar run from 1984-2008.

Yes, she may now be a legacy act but the fact she’s still charting singles is impressive in itself. You can’t say the same for most of her peers’ newer releases.

I think the huge success for Madonna is an exception rather than the rule for an artist tbh.

1 thats comparing apples to oranges, we will never know if sabrina would of had the same or better longevity

2 Madonna is still getting hits more because of features or featuring on big hits so its exceptional cases, and really random that your dragging the main reason this is even charting in the first place 😅

Certainly not dragging Sabrina, just making the point in defence of Madonna as there seems to be a lot of sniping towards her. If she got a new hit in the streaming era it would be great but shouldn’t be expected and that’s okay.

Who's sniping at her its great shes still successful whatever variables you look at heck most artist these days dont have huge longevity 🤣

The only one that seems to defy all natural odds and just keeps getting bigger is Taylor
