Thursday at 21:382 days Model/Actriz are 100% banned from this contest for finishing in the top 3 last contest as has always been a rule anyway x(and as I hinted in the other thread there's a high chance that any attempt to enter them again any time in the near future will be vetoed regardless after 2 top 5 finishes in the span of a year)
Thursday at 22:342 days let’s just name and shame them i can’t be bothered trying to look up farc’s most recent top 2 hit
Thursday at 22:442 days Better yet, introduce a new rule to veto all top three artists for the first year after their top three hit. We get it, they're popular on Buzzjack, they're likely to be popular again in such a short timeframe and with a song probably from the same era, post the song in the Pop forum and find something inspired! Thursday at 23:062 days Tbf to me, I wasn't in the contest when they were sent! This was my introduction to ORKID and ofc I fell in love with it and didn't think TWICE about wanting to send it So this genuinely wasn't me attempting to be cheap btw!! (Clearing my name x) I saw it had so little views on YT so thought it'd be safe until it was time for me to confirm and seeing everyone's clues and they were eerily close to my entry! (And once I confirmed I found out they finished 2nd a few contests ago!)Needless to say though, I'm looking for a replacement x
Thursday at 23:332 days Same, that was exactly one contest before my first BJSC, so popularity didn’t play a role for me either because I had never even heard of the woman. I typed I Still Miss You from the previous edition on Spotify, and literally the first song that popped up next was that one, and I was like, wow, this could do really well. Then I went to check the list of used songs and saw that it had come second, and I was like, oh f***, someone’s definitely going to send it now. 🤣Just so we’re clear, I didn’t even try to submit it because I didn’t want to come across as pretentious as a beginner.I think the song is just really good, and I read in the comments that for some people it was even popping up as an ad. But I don’t think it should be vetoed, considering that artist has only been used once, and the song simply found its way to more people because it’s just that good. Thursday at 23:392 days Completely fair! I hadn't even worked out what the song in question was (and haven't heard it yet now it's been mentioned!) so that wasn't a personal remark towards anyone in particular or about this song/artist! I will check it tomorrow, I'm sure it's good, their last entry was brilliant.

I just wanted to clear my name that I hadn’t heard of them until I discovered this song due to not being in the contest they finished 2nd. It’s incredible though. So easy to see why it’s as sought after as it is.
