I'm v familiar with that Valencia song, I'm surprised it was confirmed though not because she's an obvious veto but because the song is pretty uh... polarising shall we say 🥲 Although her success in the contest is fairly recent so I wouldn't have risked sending her at this time anyway (assuming I liked a song of hers enough to feel okay about thrusting it upon the ears of you lot)

I don’t mind being transparent in saying I didn’t vote to veto Valencia but I think there’s something to be said for “not now but not forever” with some artists and that they need a bit of a cooling off period. Avery Cochrane was one of them too but I don’t think these artists will be vetoed every time going forward so if someone sends them in the future and they don’t get vetoed, we’re not being inconsistent if you get me.

I ended up confirming a previous potential that I wanted to send after my Hungarian era.

After the double confirmation/veto I didn't want to send anything less-amazing-than Brutalismus 3000, so the bar was quite high, but I'm confident that this one's up there and will find its fans.
