Thank you so much for making this such a wonderful celebration for Buzzjack’s 20 year anniversary. As I don’t do BJSC it’s the biggest contest I’ve taken part in ever!

This is an anonymous contest so please do not reveal or hint at your entry until the results are announced - but feel free to speculate what people may have sent!

As well as all not being UK Top 40 hits, none of the tracks have more than 100 million Spotify streams and so we’re happy that none of them are too well known.

We are aware that the Sneaky Sound System and Islands tracks appeared in very old editions of BJSC and Unknown Pleasures respectively, but were happy to let them through.

Exciting, Looks very inspired list. Already know 'Carnival Of Rust' which I had first heard and considered for around Bjsc 100 time. 'Hands Open' is great too.

Ooooh there are some solid choices there. I adore one of the songs near the bottom - but I won’t say which as I expect people will think I sent it!

Interesting! There's also one artist here I considered (with a different song). And I know several other songs this time.

Many of my favourite albums of 2006 represented here - Nelly Furtado, The Pipettes, Regina Spektor, All Saints, Infernal, The Cardigans, Evanescence, Dannii - I will refrain to say what I thought of the songs picked but some are very good indeed. One in particular reminds me of very happy uni memories <3

Flawed from Delta's Japan only album! I missed the chance to send that to Pop Factor, be interesting to see how it does here, it could have been a nice choice for ballad round.

I did not know or had forgotten that Moony had a 2006 single!

Oh my, I was between two songs here and I see someone else has entered the other one I was considering *.* I won't say which one but it was a great discovery so I guess I'll see what happened had I gone the other way here.

And I was considering The Knife too, but I'd already sent them to Club Bizarre last time so held off here but lovely to see that (and I mean who would stoop so low as to recycle themselves across song contests? xx)

Also... there are about 15 of these that I already know, and fortunately also like, so I know there'll definitely be enough great songs to vote for before I've even heard the others

But was unsure of the wider appeal for a contest like this, so just settled on sending one of my fave artists.
