I feel like I'm not surprised this was the Jade remix as I got a sense Lily wanted it to be a single before but Madeleine and Pussy Palace got more attention

No NMF on Spotify and no radio 1 Playlisting at all whats going on 😢

It's 3rd on Apple's NMD behind Ariana and Becky Hill, so it definitely has some support!

I suspect Radio 1 didn't have it for shortlisting on Tuesday, and Spotify either won't add it to NMF (due to being a remix) or have snubbed it due to less localisation on their major playlists!

The new production needs to grow on me, it's a bit overbearing in the chorus and disrupts the flow I think. I love the original so Lily's parts remain great, and I do really like what Jade brings too, her lyrics are brilliant and really reinforce what West End Girl is about.

I prefer the original.

Don't get me wrong, JADE's involvement is FIERCE but the production really takes me out of zone and I find it quite jarring. It's like a 8/10 compared to the original's 10/10.
