Posted June 10Jun 10 Amerie reaches third spot with 'Take Control'. It was the lead single from her third album Because I Love It. Cee Lo Green had a hand in being one of the writers for the track and he also was one of the producers on it too. It contains excerpts from the 1970 song 'Jimmy Renda-se' by Brazilian musician Tom Zé along with elements of the 80's hit 'You Make My Dreams' by Hall & Oates. The video takes inspiration from Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 film Blow Up.3 Amerie - Take Control (18/30 votes)4 Beverley Knight - Shoulda Woulda Coulda (14/29 votes)5 Inaya Day - Nasty Girl (11/24 votes)6 Samantha Mumba - Lately (13/31 votes)7 Geri - Ride It (11/22 votes)8 David Sneddon - Don't Let Go (15/26 votes)9 A1 - Like A Rose (13/29 votes)10 Leon Jackson - Don't Call This Love (16/27 votes)Vote for your Winner!
June 10Jun 10 Author Guess I'll go with Sugababes to win again as it's from this century, both obviously classics. Understandably will be a lack of enthusiasm with this final though which I would agree with lol.
June 10Jun 10 "Push the button, push-push the button!"I wasn't voting when it came up first time around in these polls, happy for it to have a second win.
June 10Jun 10 Samantha Mumba/Beverley Knight!Sugababes is a cracker of a song though and I do prefer it to Thriller
June 10Jun 10 Voted for 'Thriller' as it has the edge for me musically but would be fine with either winner
