Spotify updated but who cares anymore.

'Three Lions' will inevitably be #1 in tomorrow's update because of pre-match streams, wonder if it'll go 1-OUT after that (it went 1-141 after the last Euros final)

'Wonderwall' at #1 on Apple and 'Three Lions' at #3. Of course back in the same awkward bittersweet moment as after the semi-finals of 2018.

It's coming home in 2030 though, don't worry x

Did Three Lions make an appearance when England won the Women’s Euros?

It’ll be interesting to see how much impact the Women’s World Cup has on the chart next year, being the first tournament since England won the Euros and probably at a higher profile than ever.

Yes it entered at #74 when England won the Women's Euros in 2022.

At this point I'm pretty sure it no longer has any interest in coming home x

You wait until we beat Uzbekistan 1-0 in the group stages and we will all be delusional again

Only tends to appear right at the end pf the tournaments for women's because less people care, most band wagon jump when we make it to quarters or semis

In the 95th minute of stoppage time.

Are we safe from a big boost from it on Sunday now England are out? Or will it still get quite a significant amount of listeners anyway?

Its like Christmas songs after 26th December, not many want to listen to them!

I don't expect many will care for the England v France 3rd place game so Three Lions will drop out entirely next week

Wonderwall could still get another top 40 week I guess as it's not exclusively a football song

Very true - I imagine next year's will be the most hyped to date though, so wouldn't be surprised if it goes Top 40 tbh (if England do well again, of course).

David Baddiel truly shagging Spotify cheeseblock

You summoned the update about 30 seconds after this post! lol

'Three Lions' #1 (547k streams) and 'Wonderwall' #2 (500k streams)

Edit: 'Wonderwall' is #1 on Global Spotify...! Oh my

Wonder how the Thursday estimates will affect the footy songs. Potential resets for Fat Les/New Order?

EDIT Hey Jude 7 combined!

And an additional version of Three Lions.

As this was Wednesday, I’m sure Three Lions will have done enough for top 3.
