I think I would’ve qualified if I were in the second semi. As it is, I’ve prepared myself for another elimination. Which is sad because personally, I really don’t think it’s anywhere near the bottom 9 in terms of quality

Genuinely surprised to be listed there Rob!

I really like my entry this month, but it’s quite quirky and I thought it was quite a risk. On the plus side, it doesn’t sound like the other songs in the semi. On the negative side, it’s not a buzzjack friendly genre.

That was my thought process - whether to my taste or not, I thought it was one that stood out the most and would probably galvanise high points for that reason?

I often find it harder to predict, as I’ve said before, with less mainstream sounding songs as to what is going to connect with that crowd because I’m kinda far removed from it so apologies if I’m wrong 😂

I found this semi very tough to predict tbh, I only felt confident about… maybe 3 of the songs I said wouldn’t make it. It’s a real mixed bag to know what’s going to connect and what will fall through the net.

I was much less sure on most of these. I think quite a few of them have the potential to get lost in the crowd (based on comments I've seen, and my own listening), so this semi feels like a real lottery!
