Tuesday at 17:494 days I’m shocked Bananarama have only ever had one Top 10, that this reissue is selling so well, and that their sales are already nearly triple the total number of the Girls Aloud reissue last week. I figured the latter still had a stronger fan base.

Tuesday at 18:284 days Sales for Dollys GHs are lower than I thought, only 7k between them both when she has three songs selling well. Or are there loads of other GHs not accounted for?

They only had one Top 10 album and that was their second, which contained two No 1s yet still only went to #10.

Tuesday at 19:214 days The usual link to the Singles midweeks update https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart-update/ is only displaying the top 7. Tuesday at 19:364 days Goodness, I missed the updates and have just looked at them, I am floored! Bananarama at #3 and selling enough to potentially stay top 10 with an album that originally charted at #46!! 100% coming to improve their initial chart position either way. I am gobsmacked they are vastly outselling Tangled Up, even with their more formats. I hope they can hold onto top 10, for such a well remembered girl band with some genuinely iconic hits, only having one top 10 studio album to their name is appalling, they deserve more. Either way looks like another top 20 to their tally. ❤️Also Dolly Parton replacing Rein Me In at #1 would be SUCH a wonderful thing, she deserves to have at least one #1 to her name in the UK. Again, another iconic artist who should have far more chart entries to her name, the lack of top 10s (and #1s) for her is shocking with her status.Fingers crossed for both, this will be an exciting week to watch!
Tuesday at 21:184 days I've got a horrid feeling Choosin Texas will be a long running #1 FFS - why are we obsessed with such mediocre songs 😭
