Yesterday's update was the Tuesday midweek, there's no update compiled on bank holidays.

my bad - I meant in terms of data, i.e. not including Monday's streaming (like how the Wednesday one won't include yesterday's) but as Jason said it's probably just an early release of the Wednesday midweeks! I should've worded it better.

Just noticed that the siblings are now separated by Alyssa Grace in the mids

Guess “Jolene” and “9 To 5” will probably land at #5 and #6 respectively, so 2 nice new peaks at least.

I do like “Choosin’ Texas” so fine with it getting #1 if it does, though I prefer “Great Expectation”. Seems the latter might get there next week anyway. Happy for those 2 to do a tag team in blocking the other 2 contenders.

Often you have to have famous connections to have a hit now, and/or have a big following online for a while, few come from nowhere.

Purely because of the chart run and the impact it's made in the USA, I would love Ella to just steal one week. I do think it will be Sienna next week, seems the one with momentum at least.

I don’t understand why nobody is really gunning for the #1.

After almost 6 months of RMI at the top I would’ve thought that labels would’ve been pulling out the stops to get their artists to the top.

A #1 for Sienna, Ella, Stella etc., would be big at this stage of their careers and with sales so close I thought we might see some activity (alternative versions, lyric video, social media push - anything!).

I don't think it really matters to be honest. Sure it would like nice from a chart perspective but Sienna's album is doing well overall with multiple songs charting/streaming well for example. And money-wise there's not much return for a push to #1 when the artists could get there in the coming weeks with no effort? Plus Ella is already doing amazing in the US where the focus is mainly so anything else is a bonus.

Although incoming Drake remix will likely get Ella a week at #1 regardless.

A #1 doesn't have as much meaning/impact as it used to in my opinion. Partly due to monoculture slowly dying.

This was Dolly’s last chance at a UK #1, I’m so upset this won’t be happening when it came so close

Ew at Choosin’ Texas taking number 1. I hope Sienna can knock Texas off the top next week. The only good thing about Texas going to number 1 is that Now 123 will finally have a number 1

I have seen adverts on Facebook with a competition to win flights, accommodation and tickets to see Ella Langley live in Los Angeles if you download Choosin Texas from her official music store, so looks like her record company are pushing for no.1.

Could be looking at a margin as small as Kate Nash's infamous double digit runner up gap.

That will just be the Wednesday midweeks (the update yesterday was the Tuesday update, there is no Monday update on Bank Holiday weeks).

But if the updates are corret, HUGEL is 200 behind and was about the same before, Sienna extended over Ella yesterday so honestly, no idea how it will go.
