1 hour ago1 hr Have to be honest, I'm not keen on this round. As a deaf person I tend to hate clubby music and remixes, it all just sounds like noise to me. Will probably need so space the listening sessions out for these ones and likely won't be giving many (if any) repeated listens.I wonder if the remixes have to be "clubby / bangers" remixes what about like orchestral remixes? And are just upbeat songs in general ok?
1 hour ago1 hr Author Unofficial remixes are fine, sure, just depends if people want to go down that route and take more of a risk 👀 and beyond the rules set out, totally up to the mentors how it's interpreted (song also doesn't have to be a remix) x
1 hour ago1 hr A massive well done to @ElectroBoy and @Julian_ on making the live shows.I know from experience with The Corrs last year it's disappointing to leave in the First Live Show, but I think you both played a brilliant game. I didn't know much from either artist before this started, I've certainly discovered some songs I enjoyed that I never thought I would.

So, if people go for the club banger route, it could literally just be like... Danceteria Afterhours if Madonna was taking part or the Stateside remix with Zara Larsson if PinkPantheress was taking part - so long as the production is "re mixed" from the original, it's surely fine. Which is why people have suggested Can't Get Blue Monday out of My Head, I guess!I'm not expecting it to be 13 head thumpers because the description leaves it up for interpretation. Someone like SEB could definitely play this very smartly.
