So you could say the rice was too plain ?

No more basmati. :(

Steamed Rice out!

Tbf the Rice has done very well for a non-traditional pop act, complete with bizarre rant from the host

Damien Rice

I'm sorry, but your time in the competition has come to an end and you have been eliminated.

Ooh that is a very good round from the Males there (at least based on what I know), a classic from early Calvin and I wasn't sure Gary would be allowed that, but does make sense as the band is essentially him and his backing band under a different name and obviously a huge classic.

Again, I think those two probably would've gone anyway, RIP Uncle Ben </3

Oh I really love The Blower’s Daughter!

I look forward to listening to the songs in these rounds.

Just catching up , King will be lethal in the gamu round. The gamu round is shaping up to be the most amazing round of the competition.

I cant wait to give the songs of this round a listen!!

The Rogue Trader, thank you for making your incredibly difficult decisions.

To confirm, the six solo male artists proceeding to Judges' Houses are:

Calvin Harris

Gary Numan

Sam Fender

Sam Smith

Tom Grennan

Darin

And now...

It's time...

For the SOLO FEMALES...

Manifesting a Marina qualification

All These Nights is definitely Tom's best song!

SIX CHAIRS.

EIGHT SOLO FEMALE ARTISTS.

THE FINAL CATEGORY OF THE NIGHT.

WHO WILL MAKE IT?

Another beautiful song from Damien Rice and a shame to see him out, two of my personal faves have now gone this round 😢

Bit late to the party but at Tom getting a chair!

Gillette (The Best a Man Can Get) says hi (we need this before Tom goes!)

Winners song material for sure

Ahh commiserations to everyone's favourite staple food. Also not familiar with that song despite it being, I gather, one of his more well-known ones (I confess I think 'Cannonball' might be literally the only song of his I'd ever heard before this) so I can't really comment yet on if I'd have been saving it myself!

The old man lives to fight another round though despite being drawn with the least alt bloc judge

The first solo female artist to step to the stage in a bid to impress Commander Eye Sack is...

Here Comes the Night is my favourite Agnes song

Incredible song choice from Agnes!! Absolute fave from her.
