This year feels particularly harsh (not a criticism of the competition, for the record, not everybody can stay) - I feel like all 6 of these artists left deserve the live shows, and they'd all do really well there, it seems a shame we're going to lose 2 of them yet when they're playing such good stuff.

I do agree with this, looking at all the categories I feel like the female one has suffered a lot when, if they had moved out of categories earlier, most would still be here. There are some cracking acts in the other categories but I feel like the female one has been stacked. Then again most people wanted a female act so you suffer the consequences of having one I guess. Name of the game and all that.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't want the stress and pressure of being in the females category! (even though I might already be in it at the moment, if I haven't already been eliminated etc.)

I mean I do love Texas. And I have to say they've been playing it perfectly so far... but I couldn't possibly comment any further than that.

I think it’s right that a certain number from each category go to the live shows so that if you get a male artist it still feels worthwhile.

There will be plentiful female artists in live shows, thanks to Calvin Harris!!!

It does seem that the artists eliminated early on are gaining more of an advantage for the Gamu round over whoever is eliminated in these rounds where they've already had to play their big hitters.

Oh, I agree, I wouldn't change the format! Just feels unfortunate for such a strong category in this particular edition - I'd say the females category has been stronger across the board than Series 1 & 2.

Yeah and it’s a bit of a shame to be seeing a round like this with final worthy songs at this stage because the girls’ mentors are so afraid of each other.

01 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor how could this not be top? A concrete classic! Never gets old for me. Her best song imo!

02 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights not usually a huge fan of Kate but this is a stunning song. Great move playing it now!

03 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat have really grown to love this after not caring for it originally. Robyn sounds gorgeous on it.

04 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You actually sounding better than I remember. Can’t quite compete with that top 3 though.

05 MARINA - Oh No! not bad but far from being my Marina fave. I think something like Primadonna might’ve been safer but can also see why that would be held back lol!

06 Adele - Skyfall never liked this tbh. Sorry!
